Details:
Sunflower has requested the City consider extending their “vertical construction start date” from May 1 to May 25. It is a reasonable request considering the unusual circumstances we are living in. This adjustment would also change the completion date by the same number of days (they have 1 year from the start of vertical construction to complete construction. Steve Mauer has reviewed the agreement and has prepared an amendment to the sale agreement that would afford this change. Per Sunflower their request is driven by a longer than expected review and approval process for the sanitary sewer realignment and underground electric relocation improvements.
